To work a meet as an official, you need the following:
- USA Swimming registration in good standing. See the registration guide for details.
- Current officials: Your LSC credentials as Stroke & Turn / Starter / Admin Official / Chief Judge / Referee must exist and not expired.
- Apprentice officials (view the getting started guide for details): We recommend the following prior to starting your on-deck training:
- Foundations of Officiating course to help you understand the mindset and philosophy of officials.
- One of the following to help you understand your job at the meet (send test results to officials@pns.org)
- Stroke and Turn Certification Course
- Administrative Official Certification Course
